PRESS RELEASE BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Parliament Building welcomes the public for another edition of Notte Bianca

For another year, the Parliament Building in Valletta opened its doors to the public on Saturday, 3 October 2026, as part of Notte Bianca, giving visitors the opportunity to experience Parliament from within and learn more about the work of the country’s highest legislative institution.

Throughout the evening, members of the public visited the building and had the opportunity to meet the Deputy Speaker Bernard Grech, Members of Parliament, and members of the Parliamentary Service staff. They were available to welcome visitors, answer questions and explain how Parliament functions, including its role in the democratic process and the work carried out by Members of Parliament and parliamentary staff.

The opening of the Parliament Building for Notte Bianca provided an opportunity for visitors to gain a better understanding of the institution, its daily operations and the important role it plays in Malta’s democratic life. It also offered a chance for the public to engage directly with parliamentary representatives and staff in an informal setting.

The participation of the Parliament of Malta in Notte Bianca for another consecutive year reflects its ongoing commitment to openness, accessibility and public engagement, bringing Parliament closer to the people it serves and encouraging greater awareness of its work and functions.
